Your app, built the way we build our own

Alongside our own apps, the studio takes on a few client projects at a time. You get the same team, the same standards for privacy and accessibility, and the same attention after launch.

What we do

  • Product design

Research with the people who will use the app, then sketches and a clickable prototype you can test on your own phone before anything is built.

  • iPhone, iPad and Android apps

One codebase in React Native and Expo, with native modules where an app needs them. Offline-first wherever possible, and accessible from day one.

  • AI features, used carefully

Assistants and smart features with clear limits: keys kept on the server, prompts reviewed for safety, and a written account of what data leaves the device.

  • Launch and store compliance

App Store and Google Play listings, privacy labels, data safety forms, age ratings, Kids Category rules and TestFlight betas, all handled.

  • A website to match

Through Flyntex, our web branch, we can design and build the site your app launches from.

  • Care after launch

Updates for each new iOS and Android release, monitoring, fixes and planned improvements, on a simple monthly plan.

How a project runs

Every project follows the same five steps. You see working software early and often.

  1. Listen

A first call, then a short written summary of the problem, the audience, constraints and what success looks like.

  2. Shape

Flows, sketches and a clickable prototype, tested with real people before production work begins.

  3. Build

Short cycles with a new TestFlight and Android test build every week, so you can try progress on your own devices.

  4. Launch

Store assets, review submissions and a launch checklist, plus the privacy policy and support pages the stores require.

  5. Care

Ongoing updates and improvements, guided by support requests and what people actually do in the app.

Ways to work together

  • Prototype sprint

A fixed-scope few weeks that end with a tested, clickable prototype and a clear plan and estimate for building it.

  • First release

Design and development through to launch, agreed in milestones so you always know what’s next and what it costs.

  • Ongoing care

A monthly plan for apps already in the stores, whether we built them or not.

Questions clients ask

Who owns the code and designs?

You do. When the work is paid for, the source code, designs and store accounts belong to you, and we hand everything over in a documented repository.

Can you take over an existing app?

Yes. We start with a short review of the code, the store listings and the support history, then recommend whether to improve what exists or rebuild parts of it.

Do you build apps for children?

Yes, and it’s where we are most careful. We design to COPPA, GDPR and the Age Appropriate Design Code, keep third-party SDKs out, and plan for Apple’s Kids Category review from the start.

How long does a first version take?

It depends on scope. After our first conversation we write a short proposal with a timeline and estimate. A prototype sprint is the quickest way to get a reliable number.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, before you share anything confidential.
